ACA asks players to register name with dist cricket associations Vijayawada | April 04, 2007 12:53:35 PM IST
The Andhra Cricket Association (ACA) today asked women cricketers in Andhra Pradesh to register their name with district cricket associations concerned for enabling them to participate in the Board of Control for Cricket in India's (BCCI) tournaments for 2007-2008. ACA General Secretary N Venkata Rao, in a release here, said the BCCI had not accorded permission to any organisation in Andhra Pradesh to conduct tournaments or selection trials for women cricket players to participate in BCCI tournaments. He said women cricketers without proper registration with the district cricket association concerned would not be permitted to take part in the selection tournaments. UNI CS SSC KP1336
