Dravid best bet to lead India at the moment, says Shah Mumbai | April 03, 2007 9:51:06 AM IST
The beleaguered Indian cricket captain Rahul Dravid found support from of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) secretary Niranjan Shah who said that at the moment, Dravid was the best man suited to lead the team. Mr Shah, added that this was his personal view and a youngster could be groomed under Dravid to take over at a later stage. Shah also said the BCCI's Working Committee was to decide on April 7 about the future of Chappell who was appointed as the coach till the World Cup. He, however, denied that Greg Chappell had indicated his unwillingness to coach India if offered the post again when the Australian met the board officials a few days back. UNI GS PM PDS RK1905
