England captain Michael Vaughan won the toss and elected to bat first against Ireland in their World Cup Super Eight match at Providence Stadium here today. England named a unchanged team from their last group win over Kenya while Irish captain Trent Johnston returned from a shoulder problem in place of John Mooney.
