Bihar lawyer sues Chappell, Pawar and More

A Bihar lawyer has filed a case against cricket team coach Greg Chappell, Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) president Sharad Pawar and former selection committee chief Kiran More, blaming them for India's rout in the World Cup. Umeshwar Dutt Pathak filed his case in the chief judicial magistrate civil court in Ara, about 60 km from here. The court has admitted the case, officials said. Pathak said in his petition that India's defeat by Bangladesh and Sri Lanka had hurt and insulted millions of Indian cricket fans. (IANS)
