Inzi's mysteriously dashes out of London hotel twice London | March 27, 2007 1:12:27 PM IST
Pakistan cricket captain Inzamam-ul-Haq mysteriously left his hotel late on Sunday night, two days before taking his flight back home. Accompanied by a member of the team's backroom staff, Inzamam left the Holiday Inn at Heathrow in a sports car just after 10 p.m. on Sunday. He returned after midnight and turned down the chance to eat out with some of his teammates. On Monday afternoon, according to The Mirror, he left the hotel again to meet his brother who had travelled down from the north to see him. He used a side exit to leave the hotel - despite a close confidante telling the Mirror just a couple of hours earlier that he was determined to leave through the front doors because he has nothing to hide. On Saturday Inzamam was quizzed by detectives in Jamaica over why he changed his room at the team hotel. Yesterday Dalawar Choudhary, who has helped look after the Pakistan team when they have been in London for more than 30 years, said he had no idea where Inzamam had gone on Sunday night. The team is due to fly back to Pakistan tonight. (ANI)
