New Zealand batsman Hamish Marshall will replace injured team mate Lou Vincent for the ongoing World Cup, it was announced by the team management here Monday. Vincent, who hit a century against Kenya Thursday, was ruled out of the World Cup after breaking his left wrist during a practice session in Antigua. The batsman was hit by a Shane Bond delivery while batting. Vincent was immediately taken to a hospital where an X-ray revealed a clean fracture. Vincent is the second New Zealand player after fast bowler Darryl Tuffey to be ruled out of the World Cup midway. Tuffey injured his right bicep during their 114-run win against Canada in St. Lucia Thursday and has been replaced by Chris Martin.
