Curtain comes down on 17th ICFF
The curtain came down this evening on the week-long 17th International Children s Film Festival (ICFF) which was held in the pearl city from November 14. Andhra Pradesh Governor E S L Narasimhan, who was the Chief Guest at the valedictory, presented awards to the winners in various categories. Indian films bagged the lion s share in the ICFF competition. Of the 15 awards announced at a colourful function held at the sprawling Global Peace Auditorium in the city, Indian films bagged the Golden Plaque for the Second Best Little Director and the even the Golden Elephant for the Best Little Director category besides in the other Indian section. Aryan Chugh and Sumer Rai won the Golden Plaque for the second best little director award for The Adventures of Eddy and Curt while Varun Haldar and Bintia Nayak won the Golden Elephant for the Best Little Director. The Golden Plaque for the second Best Short film has gone for the German film The Ball .
