India Antiques, idols recovered, one held
Police today arrested one person here on the charge of illegal possession of ancient artifacts, including idols of God. Police said more than 70 antiques were recovered from the accused identified as Babu, a resident of the city. The Archaeology Department has been approached to declare the value of the artifacts, police said.
