India 2-Day National Hindi seminar inaugurated in AP
The Andhra University (AU) Vice-Chancellor B Satyanarayana yesterday inaugurated the two day National Hindi Seminar on the appropriateness of mythological aspects, narrations in the modern hindi literature in the AU Campus. Speaking after inaugurating yesterday at the Hindi Seminar here organised jointly by Hindi Sahitya Kiran's 4th anniversary celebrations of AU hindi department. He underlined the need to give more importance to literature writers for its development in the country. He said the history of the country, the Mahabharata and Ramayana are used by modern writers to implement the moral values of life in the modern age and the Indian mythology and its relevance in the modern literature is very much useful for the present generation. On the occasion, he also released three books, which was compiled and edited jointly by Prof S Sesharathan and J Papa Rao, the book titles Nurellu, Nuruguru and Kathakulu ( The Hundred Years, Hundred Story Writers and Hundred Short Storys). The renowned hindi fiction writer Smt Chitra Mudgal in his key address here, said the present methodology of Indian writers was to adopt mythological incidents and characters in the present day situation and expressed that this is very useful for restructuring the social values, which are deteriorating due to the modern and western influence.+ The Hindi Sahitya Kiran president Prof S Sesharatnam and seminar coordinator Dr Syed Mehrun and several universitys hindi writers also participated in the seminar.
