India 1 killed in road accident in Kashmir
One person was killed and five others were yjinjured in different road accidents in the Kashmir valley overnight. Official sources here today said a vehicle hit and seriously injured a pedestrian Mohammad Yousuf Shah at Chandkote crossing, Sopore, on Srinagar-Bandipora Road. The injured was later shifted to Sher-e-Kashmir (SeK) institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) at Soura where he succumbed to his injuries. In a similar accident, one Abdul Rashid Baba was critically wounded when a vehicle hit him at Alambugh Charar-e-Sharief in Central Kashmir district of Badgam. He was later referred to SKIMS in a critical condition. In another incident two passengers were injured when two vehicles collided at Putkhah, Sopore while a driver was injured after a vehicle he was driving overturned at Sabateng Pattan, the official sources informed. A vehicle hit and injured a woman at Mantake Awantipora. All the injured were admitted to different hospitals, they said. -- (UNI) -- 14DR24.xml
