Cancer affected kids thrilled to meet Bollywood actor Tushar Kapoor in Jaipur
Jaipur | February 09, 2010 4:19:10 PM IST

Many cancer affected children had a pleasant time on Monday, as they got an opportunity to meet Bollywood actor Tushar Kapoor here in Rajasthan capital city.

Tushar spent about two hours in the company of kids and also danced with them during a function organised for the cancer-affected patients.

The Bollywood actor said he was glad to have come to the city, as the kids inspired him. He also said that their fight against cancer should be appreciated.

"See I am no one to give a message, they better know what they are going through, and since they are fighting against this incurable disease and succeeding, I think I should learn from them. I am here to just give them a little encouragement but I myself received a lot of motivation," said Tushar Kapoor.

Asked about the ongoing debate of Mumbai being meant for Mumbaikars only, Tushar said Mumbai is for everybody.

"I don't understand why we take everything to a political level, Mumbai is for everybody. In fact, every state is for everybody, our country is for Indians and we welcome foreigners as well. So why won't we welcome our people," said Tushar Kapoor.

He also mentioned that Mumbai is a multicultural and cosmopolitan city and cricket and politics should not be mixed together. by Lokender Singh(ANI)
