Mettur water level 91.740 ft

The water level in the Stanley Reservoir at Mettur across River Cauvery stood at 91.740 feet this morning as against its full capacity of 120 feet.

The inflow into the reservoir was 3,744 cusecs and the discharge maintained at 7,999 cusecs, PWD sources said this morning.

From Grand Anicut, 2,288 cusecs of water was discharged through Cauveri, 1,105 cusecs through Vennar, 1,500 cusecs through Gand Anicut Canal and 544 cusecs through Coleroon for irrigation.
