India Govt will cooperate with CBI: CM
Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa today said his government will provide all cooperation to CBI to inquire into the mining operations in Bellary district. Talking to newspersons on the sidelines of a function here, the Chief Minister said the CBI would conduct the inquiry into the alleged illegal mining by Obulapuram Mining Company (OMC) following the recommendation from Andhra Pradesh and if the agency approached the state government during the investigation, it would provide the information within legal framework. To a question, he said the government would give all details on the mining activities in the state during the coming Assembly Session and there was nothing to hide about it. Andhra Pradesh Government had recommended to the Centre to order a CBI inquiry into the illegal mining by OMC, owned by Reddy brothers, he added. -- (UNI) -- 05MS16.xml
