5 pick-pockets held in Delhi Metro

Five women pick-pockets were held today inside Delhi Metro today by Central Industrial Security Force officers, officials said. ''The pick-pockets, identified as Rakhi, Lalita, Sheela, Laxmi and Bareli, all around 25 years of age, were held at Kashmere Gate metro station,'' a CISF official told UNI. He informed that a mobile phone along with Rs 1000 in cash has been recovered from their possession. ''The pick-pockets, all residents of Patel Nagar slum area, used to take children of around 10 years of age with them. After looting the money, they used to hide the money with the children,'' the official added. Further details were awaited and interrogation was in progress.
