India PoK national held as 56 swap border in Poonch
As 56 civilians today swapped border in weekly Poonch-Rawlakote bus service via Chakkan-da-Bagh, police arrested a Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir (PoK) national, along with a satellite phone in bordering Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir. A PoK national identified as Tufail Hussain Shah, son of Syed Bhar Shah, resident of Mirpur, who had come to meet her daughter at Rajouri was arrested as he was carrying a satellite phone along with him, police sources told UNI. During frisking of his luggage at Chakkan-da-Bagh on Line of Control (LoC), one satellite phone, which he had hidden in the clothes, was seized, police said adding, the accused was arrested and has been put under sustained questioning. Meanwhile 21 civilians including 11 Indian citizens and 10 PoK residents reached this side of the border while 35 went to the other side including three first timers from Indian side and 32 returned to their homes in PoK.
