'I will resign if TDP gets one seat more than Cong in GHMC':CM

K Rosaiah today said he would resign as Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister if the Telugu Desam Party secures one corporator seat more than the Congress in the elections to Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation(GHMC) tomorrow.

''If TDP led by Chandrababu Naidu gets even one corporator seat more than Congress Party, I will immediately submit my resignation letter to Party High Command and also to Governor soon after the counting of votes,'' he said. Mr Rosaiah alleged that though the people of the state had rejected the TDP and Mr Naidu's leadership, he had not learnt lessons from the past. The people of the state had reposed faith in the Congress government as they felt that the Congress government alone could protect the interests of all sections of the people, he added.
