Two killed, five injured in road accident

Two girls were killed and five others injured in a road accident at Vallithode in this district of Kerala today.

Police said the deceased were identified as Sherin(9) and Seril(8). The mishap occurred when a mini-lorry rammed them from behind while the seven children were returning home after attending a class at Kunnoth near Vallithode.

The injured identified as Merinda(10), Emilsa(11), Josmina(15) Anu(13) and Abil(8) were admitted to Pariyaram Medical College Hospital here.

Investigation was underway, police added.
