India Ma to meet Zhong and Li against Ding to meet in Asian singles final
In an all-China affair, World Number two Ma Long will meet Zhang Jike and Li Xiaoxia will play against Ding Ning in the finals of the single events in the 19th Asian Table tennis Championship here today. In the men's singles semi-finals played this afternoon, on the last day of the championship, Ma Long of China beat countryman Xu Xin 4-2 while Zhong Jike also of China beat Way Liqin 4-3 in an eventful match. In the women's singles semi-final, Li Xiaoxia of China beat Fan ying 4-0 in a one sided match while Ding Ning also of China defeated hLiu Shiven 4-1. Earlier, Ma Long and Li Xiaoxia had won the mixed doubles title defeating Zhang Jike and Ding Ning. Both finals would be played late tonight today. -- (UNI) -- 22SPD20.xml
