Mettur water level 88.970 ft

The water level in the Stanley Reservoir across River Cauvery stood at 88.970 feet this morning.

PWD sources here said the inflow into the reservoir was 9,026 cusecs while discharge 2,000 cusecs.

From Grand Anicut 747 cusecs of water was released through Grand Anicut Canal and 100 cusecs of water through Coleroon. Discharge through Cauvery and Vennar remained suspended.
