H1N1 toll touches 120 in Karnataka

The death toll due to Influenza 'A' H1N1 has touched 120 in Karnataka with two women succumbing to the dreaded disease.

According to State Health Department sources, two women, aged 41 and 34 years, died due to swine flu on November 16 and 19.

Meanwhile, four people were tested positive for the flu in the city today, pushing the number of confirmed cases to 1,493.

So far, 6,05,979 passengers arriving at Bengaluru International airport and Bajpe airport Manglore airport have been screened for the virus.
