India SR announces extension of special trains
The Southern Railway today announced the extention of the following special trains to clear the extra rush of passengers during the festival season. According to a press release here, Chennai Central-Tuticorin Special will leave Chennai Central at 2015 hrs on Thursdays from December 10 to January 28 and arrive at Tuticorin at 0945 hrs, the next day. Tuticorin-Chennai Central Special would leave Tuticorin at 1815 hrs on Fridays from December 11 to January 29 and arrive at Chennai Central at 0825 hrs, the next day.
