ABVP activists lathicharged
Bidar | Saturday, Nov 21 2009 IST

Police resorted to a mild use of force to disperse the activists of Akila Bharathiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), who stormed into a private Nursing College alleging mass copying in examinations here today.

Police said more than 50 activists raised slogans against the management for allowing mass copying and stormed into the college premises. But, no one was injured in the police action.

However, the examination for General Nursing and Midwifery (CNM) was held casual.

Later, ABVP leader Shashi told newspersons that the nursing college, belongs to a Congress Party MLA, was allowing malpractice in the examination.
