India 4 die as tractor-trolley hits train in UP
Four people were killed and another injured after a tractor-trolley rammed the Lucknow-Sultanpur passenger train in Gosaiganj area of the Uttar Pradesh capital today. The incident occurred at Khiria railway crossing, in which three people, including the tractor driver, died on the spot. The deceased had been identified as Sanjay, Mohal, Sajeevan and Rahul, police said. According to Sarju, who was seriously injured in the accident and admitted to hospital, the gate was not closed and the train arrived the moment the tractor driver tried to cross the railway line. The accident led to disruption of rail traffic for a few hours.
