India IT conduct raids on homes of realtor, hotel owners
Income Tax officials today conducted simultaneous raids on homes and offices of a prominent realtor, who is also a member of the Congress party, and on two hotel owners in the city. Official sources said the raid started early in the morning and continued till evening. A large number of unaccounted wealth and bank deposits were unearthed. The official raided the home of the politician in Byatarayana pura, while homes and offices of the owner of a prominent 'Andhra style' hotel and another person, who owned a three-star hotel and was close to the ruling BJP, was also raided, officials added.
