India Germany pickup first gold in Table Soccer
Torben Merz gave Germany their first gold medal as he overcame a stiff resistance in the junior singles category, from Indian Harvinder Singh Johal by 5-4, 5-3 in the final of the India Open Master International Table Soccer Series being organised by Table Soccer Federation of India at the Manav Mangal Smart School hall in Mohali today. Torgen recorded a goal average of +36 by playing five matches and maintaining an unbeaten record. Harvinder Johal also played five matches, won four and lost the final. His goal average was registered as +22. Arshad Mohammad finished third. The fourth position went to Anu Bibyan of France.
