No talks in Delhi on Muraleedharan's re-entry: Chandy
Palakkad | Friday, Nov 20 2009 IST

Leader of the Opposition in the Kerala Assembly Oommen Chandy today said no talks were being held in New Delhi on K Muraleedharan's re-entry into Congress.

Talking to reporters after visiting the Moolathara dam, which breached earlier this month, the senior Congress leader, however, said it was the High Command that had to take a final decision on Muraleedharan's re-entry.

The Moolathara dam had breached following heavy inflow of water released from the Aliyar dam in Tamil Nadu. Blaming the officials for the breach, Mr Chandy demanaded that adequate compensation be given to the family of Velayudhan, a farmer who died following the dam breach.
