India SUV hits bus in K'taka, 11 killed
Eleven people were killed when their SUV collided head-on with a speeding private bus on the National Highway under Byndoor police station limits in Kundapura Taluk here today. The speeding Bangalore-bound private bus coming from Byndoor to Udupi dashed against the van, which was on the way to Bhatkal from Mangalore. Nine people died on the spot, while two others were rushed to hospital in a life threatening condition where they were declared brought dead by the doctors, sources said.
