Train delayed
Tiruchirapalli | Sunday, Nov 8 2009 IST

The Chennai-Tiruchiraplli Rockfort Express train suffered a delay of about three hours last midnight.

Railway sources told UNI that the delay was due to the failure of the loco of the train at Uthivakkam, between Chengulput and Villupuram Junction.

Later, an alternative loco was sent from Villupuram to the spot and hauled the train to Villupuram Junction around 0400 hrs.

All the incoming trains to Egmore Railway station, Chennai, from Southen parts have also suffered a delay of 20-55 minutes.
