Police recovered 30 kg of explosive from the Kankarbagh police station area here today. Seniour Superintendent of police Vineet Vinayak said here acting on a tip-off, a vehicle was searched, leading to the recovery of 30 kg of explosive. ''The explosive material includes a heavy amount of ammonium nitrate and potassium,'' he said, adding the driver of the vehicle manage to escape from the spot sensing police action. The seized explosives were probably being transported to Jharkhand for Maoists, he said, adding the matter was being investigated. -- (UNI) -- 07DR111.xml
