India BHEL Quality Circle bags award at Philippines convention
The quality circle in the Electronics Division of the Public sector BHEL here has won the 'Silver Award' at the International Convention on Quality Control Circles held at Mandaue in Philippines recently. The Quality circle No 58 named 'Voyager' had taken part in an international competitions for the first time, according to press release said here today. About 100 quality circles from 13 countries including India, Japan, Korea, China, Malaysia, Singapore and Philippines had participated in the convention. India dominated the 67 quality circles participating in the convention, reflecting the increasing popularity and acceptance of quality circle's concept in Indian industries. -- (UNI) -- 07MC4.xml
