Seven arrested for murdering youth Pune | Friday, Nov 6 2009 IST
The city police today arrested seven people, including a corporator, in connection with the murder of a 25-year- old youth in the city. According to the police, the main accused Anil Maruti Jadhav, along with his six other accomplices attacked Vikas Uttam More with sharp edged weapons and left his body in a nearby school ground. The reason for the murder is stated to be a fight over the selection for the post of president to the local Ganesh mandal in the Parvati area. The victim's wife Anagha Vikas More has filed the complaint in the Dattawadi police station against the seven accused for murdering her husband.
