Revenue clerk in judicial custody in bribery case

A special court here today remanded a revenue clerk to judicial custody in a bribery case.

Revenue clerk of Phulwarisharif block in Patna Raj Kishore Gupta was produced before the designated Vigilance Judge Ajit Kumar Sinha, who remanded the accused to judicial custody till November 23.

According to the charges, Gupta was caught red-handed by the vigilance sleuths at Phulwarisharif while accepting a bribe of Rs 1,000 from a person for mutation of his land yesterday.
