Cell counters in MP hospitals

In the wake of instructions issued by Madhya Pradesh Public Health and Family Welfare, Medical Education, Biotechnology and Biodiversity Minister Anup Mishra, cell counters have been opened in ten district hospitals for checking of malaria, dengue and viral infection.

The Minister directed setting up of cell counters in all district hospitals. In phase one, counters were opened at Jayaprakash Hospital here and district hospitals in Ujjain, Indore, Gwalior, Khargone, Jabalpur, Seoni, Shivpuri, Sehore and Neemuch, an official release said today.

Patients will be checked with the help of hematology cell counters and electrolyte analysers.
