India SVIMS resident doctors strike called off
Resident Doctors Association (RDA) of Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences (SVIMS) here today called off their indefinite strike demanding hike in stipend, after being given an assurance by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister K Rosaiah, who is the Chairman of SVIMS. The Chief Minister responding to the emergency agenda faxed by SVIMS in-charge Director Dr G Kumaraswamy over the doctors demand, gave an assurance that their demand would be conceded in a month after discussions at the finance committee meeting, SVIMS said in a press release.
