India One more woman arrested
Police today arrested one more woman in connection with the alleged attempt to inject HIV infected blood to the fianc of the city councillors paramour here recently. Police said the arrested Kanmani (27) was working as an assistant in the office of the Village Administrative Officer, Krisdhnasamuthiram, who was now said to be absconding. Police said they had already arrested two women including an AIADMK councillor Rajakumari in this connection. Police said Rajakumari (32), wife of Natesan of Mela Kumaresapuram and AIADMK councillor of Thiruverumbur Panchayat Union reportedly had an affair with Kumaramatheeswaran (23), son of Palani of the same area for the past three years. On learning that her paramour was to be engaged to another girl, Rajakumari decided to inject `human immunodeficiency (HIV) virus into Sathya to prevent the girl from marrying her paramour. But the attempt failed. Meanwhile, AIADMK supremo J Jayalalithaa suspended Ms Rajakumari from the party. -- (UNI) -- 05MR19.xml
