India Racket Testing seminar on Nov 14 in Lucknow
Racket Testing Seminar, first of its kind in Asia, would be held here on November 14 when several experts in the field of Table Tennis would particiate. International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF), equipement committee chairman Odd Godstaven will participate in the seminar, said Table Tennis Federation of India (TTFI) Joint Secretary Arun Kumar Banerjee here today. He said the seminar will be attended by more than 25 participants, including 15 from foreign countries. Meanwhile, an advanced Umpires training Course is also being organised here on November 15 just a day before the commencement of the 19th Asian TT Championship. More than 20 candidates from India and abroad would particpate in this course. TTFI, Umpires and Referees Committee chairman Albert Rooijmans of Netherland will be the chief evaluator of the course. Banerjee said India has nine Blue badge candidates, who have passed the AUT Course and passed the written examination. They are now under the process of paractical evaluation. -- (UNI) -- 05SPD29.xml
