Deaf mute girl raped
Raipur | Thursday, Nov 5 2009 IST

Rural police have booked a man for allegedly raping a 20-year-old deaf mute girl at Singarpur village in Bhatapara, about 50 km from here.

The accused, identified as Babulal Dhruv, a resident of the same village, allegedly raped the girl on Tuesday night when she was alone in her house, police said.

Dhruv managed to flee when the victim's brother saw him committing the crime. Medical report had confirmed the rape, police added.
