Irrigation department engineer found dead in UP

An irrigation department engineer was found dead under suspicious circumstances in Itiathok area here today.

Police said Roop Kumar Bhaskar, posted at Balrampur irrigation department as assitant engineer, had left for his home on November 2 from the office, but his body was found floating in a drainage today.

The body has been sent for post-mortem.

Police have launched a man-hunt for the killers.
