Khade wins bronze at Asian Indoor Games

Indian swimming sensation Virdhawal Khade has bagged the bronze medal in the 50m freestyle event at the third Asian Indoor Games here. Khade won his qualifying heat before tying for the bronze in the final with a timing of 22.45sec (short-course) on Tuesday. Stanislav Kuzmin of Kazakhstan won the gold medal by clocking a time of 22.20sec while Daniil Tulupov from Uzbekistan finished in 2nd place to grab the silver with a time of 22.29sec. -- (UNI) -- 05SPD8.xml
