Five die after consuming hooch

Five people died and one was taken ill after consuming spurious liquor in Behsuma area of Uttar Pradesh's Meerut district today. DIG Meerut Police M K Bashal said six people ingested a chemical which seemed like liquor, which they got from a 'dhaba' on the Meerapur-Bijnour road of Muzzafarnagar district.
