No tainted min in state: MP CM
Indore | Tuesday, Nov 3 2009 IST

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said there was no tainted member in his Council.

''Mere levelling of allegations does not taint anyone,'' he reiterated to the media at the local airport yesterday.

The government will not be able to bring about development on its own steam alone, Mr Chouhan said while adding that public participation was imperative.

'Tainted' ministers Ajay Vishnoi, Narottam Mishra and Vijay Shah were allocated lesser portfolios on Sunday. Mr Vishnoi got Animal Husbandry, Fisheries, Backward Classes and Minorities Welfare. Mr Mishra received Parliamentary Affairs, Law and Legislative Affairs.

Mr Shah was given Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Welfare.
