ICAR team arrives in Ranchi

A four-member team of India Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), led by former vice-chancellor of GB Pant University J B Choudhary, today arrived here on a five-day visit.

''The team, comprising eminent veterinarian, G Singh, S D Bharadwaj, Y S Parmarand, R K Mittal, will visit different faculties, departments, laboratories and assess the infrastructural facilties of the Birsa Agricultural University,'' a BAU spokesperson said.

The team would separately meet students and non-teaching staffs and submit its report about accreditation of the university.

Earlier, BAU vice-chancellor N N Singh presented an overview of the activites of the university before the team.
