INTEX launches new handset 'Hero' at Rs 2999

Intex Technologies (India) Ltd today announced the launch of a new handset 'Hero', priced at Rs 2,999.

The phone comes with a 45 days stand-by battery life and 5 LED lights, it said in a statement.

'' The acceptance rates of mobile phones is growing at a fast pace amongs rural and semi-urban consumers. INTEX Hero promises to address their basic needs of convenience and communication and signifies a focused brand line expansion to offer more value to our customers,'' said company DGM-Telecom Sanjay Kumar.

The set is also equipped with features like FM radio, camera, expandable memory, MP3 audio player, a 1000 contacts phonebook memory.
