Ban all Pakistani channels and artists: MYA Mumbai | Sunday, Dec 7 2008 IST
The Mumbai Youth Association, a NGO, today called for an immediate boycott of all Pakistani channels, sportspersons and artists in the country in the wake of the 26/11 terror strikes in the Metropolis. MYA president Pradeep Bhavnani told UNI that their organisation has urged the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting to ban the telecast of all Pakistani channels. He said there should also be a ban on the performance of all artists of that country, including Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and Ghulam Ali, on any channel or stage in the country. ''No sports player from Pakistan should be allowed to play here,'' Mr Bhavnani said. -- (UNI) -- 07BY9.xml
