Corporation Banks opens Rep Office in Dubai Bangalore | Rabu, Sep 24 2008 IST
Corporation Bank has opened its first ever overseas Representative Office in Dubai. The Representative Office abroad marks the beginning of the bank's international presence. The bank aims to convert this into a full-fledged branch in course of time. The bank is planning to enlarge its presence in other parts of Middle East and open its offices in China and Europe shortly. With a web of Representative Offices, the bank envisages to have better engagement with NRI community. Ultimately, it intends to offer financial solution required for global presence, according to a release by Bank Corporate Office General Manager A Mohan Rao here today. The Representative Office was inaugurated on September 22 by Mr Saeed Abdullah Al-Hamiz, Central Bank of the UAE. Mr Venu Rajamony, Consul General of India, Indian Consulate, Dubai was the Chief Guest and Corporation Bank Chairman and Managing Director B Sambamurthy presided over the function. -- (UNI) -- 24MC12.xml
