Fish and chips are the best thing about Britain, says a new survey. In the "Best of British" survey, the nation's favourite dish beat The Queen to reach the top spot. The third spot was grabbed by traditional pubs, with Sunday roasts coming fourth. Red phone boxes nabbed the fifth followed by Big Ben and cream teas at sixth and seventh positions. The Beatles, the Pound and the Royal Family rounded off the Top 10 list of what people like most about UK. The results were based on a survey of 7,000 Brits, which was conducted by hotel chain Holiday Inn. "Although we all knock it sometimes, Britain is still truly great," The Sun Andrew Smith, the rep, as saying. The Top 10 things people love most about Britain are: 1. Fish and chips 2. The Queen 3. Old fashioned pubs 4. Sunday roast 5. Red phone boxes 6. Big Ben 7. Cream teas 8. The Beatles 9. The Pound 10. The Royal Family (ANI)
