Identity of women voters checked in 418 booths Gulbarga | Thursday, May 22 2008 IST
For the first time in the electoral history of Karnataka, the election authorities arranged 418 'purda nashin' booths to check the identity of veil clad women during the third phase of the Assembly elections in the state here today. The Gulbarga district had the highest per centage of minority voters.
