MP govt deceiving farmers: Uma Bhopal | Saturday, May 17 2008 IST
Bharatiya Janshakti (BJ) president Uma Bharti today alleged that the Madhya Pradesh government was deceiving peasants. Ms Bharti, while addressing a public meeting at Aranya Kala on the third day of her 'Sampark' yatra, said the BJ would continue its fight over drought situation until farmers get justice. The party would leave no stone unturned to ensure agriculturists get their rights. She claimed that the whole Malwa region was under the grip of drought but there was no relief. Ms Bharti alleged that the government was sunk in corruption and was not protecting cow, women and poor. -- (UNI) -- 17DR61.xml
