Thane tribals get jobs in Dubai

A batch of 40 tribals from this district got jobs in industrial houses, while another batch is all set to go to Dubai soon after receiving industrial training at Somaiya Vidyavihar. This information was given by Somaiya Trust Vice-President Dr Shantilal Somaiya on the occasion of the 106th birth anniversary of Somaiya Vidyavihar founder K J Somaiya yesterday. Dr Somaiya said the training is being imparted to the tribals with the help of an Australian company. He said students from the first batch have already got jobs, including that of a foreman, while the second batch of 40 tribals is being given industrial training and will be provided jobs in Dubai. -- (UNI) -- 17BY9.xml
