Police arrests suspected SIMI activist for Jaipur bombings Jaipur | May 17, 2008 4:15:00 PM IST
Jaipur,May 17 (ANI) :The Rajasthan police arrested a man on Saturday morning , suspected to have links with the outlawed Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI) in Sawai Madhopur district of Rajasthan, in relation to the serial bombings in Jaipur. Sajid, aged 30,was detained around 3 a.m by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) of police in Sawai Madhopur district of Rajasthan.He is a teacher at a madrassa in Badi Udai village. Sajid has been brought to Jaipur where police is interrogating him. Three more sketches have been released by the Jaipur police in relation to the Tuesday's blasts that killed 63 people and injured over 200. (ANI)
